L’Arc∼en∼Ciel, a name that always manages to stir up a lot of emotions in its followers, e every time one of their new works is set to be released, it drives all the fans into a frenzy.

Mirai is the title of the new single set to be released on August 25th, 2021, after about four and a half years since their last single Don’t Be Afraid.  The product will be available in four different versions, two on CD and two on Blu-ray of which we’ll be looking at the contents and what is already known so far.

Versions and contents

The first Blu-ray bundle is divided into versions A & B, both containing a CD with the Mirai track and a Hydeless version, aka an instrumental recording. The other print, both in versions A & B, contains the music video too but the special contents included haven’t been announced yet, although they can be expected to be pretty much the same.

The two CD versions also contain Mirai in the standard and Hydeless versions, but the limited one also offers a treat for technology lovers. From the info we’ve managed to gather, fans will be able to see the music video for Mirai in panoramic view through the free Hacosco app (available on the App Store and Google Play). In addition, the CD will also contain a QR Code that leads to a virtual journey through the L’Arc-en-Ciel 30th L’Anniversary VR Museum.

What about the prices?

Considering that we’re talking about a single, the prices are quite approachable: CD+Blu-ray First Press Edition A and B are priced at around €15,50, CD Limited Edition (CD+Hacosco) is around €29,10, while the Regular Edition will be around €6,10.

⇒ We also want to remind our readers that Vampire’s Tears is affiliated with CDJapan and by buying the products mentioned above through the links on our site, you will also be helping support our work! A small specification: to make sure that our website gets recognized by the sellers as the place through which you’ve reached them, it’s always preferable to make any purchases through a browser rather than through the CDJapan app.

Thank you all in advance for your invaluable support!
